As one of the important part of International Desalination Association, China Desalination As-sociation is being a China branch of IDA. The association voluntarily consists of the whole co-untry's experts in Desalination and Water Treatment Industry, scientific research institute, bu-siness units, and any volunteer who loves water resources protection etc., Now CDA has 150 members.

Under the leadership of IDA, the association works at serving for the large members, suppor-ting the legal rights of the members, carrying through to carry out the national policy, ordinanc-e; promoting the profession technique progress, increasing economic performance in profes-sion, enhance with the exchanges of the abroad with cooperation, push the development of the whole profession with progress.

Its main purpose & mission: develop and promote the various of technologies in desalination and water treatment aspects, enhance our country's combination of produce, study and resea-rch, promoting the domestic and international exchange and cooperation. Main work: strength-ening of links with IDA, provide the information of more technique & industries for the membe-rs of CDA, organize the technique proseminars and equipment exhibitions to realize the tech-nique transfer. At the same time, offering the service for the other members besides the IDA members to promote the development of Chinese desalination and water technology busine-ss.
